An election exit poll is a poll of voters taken immediately after they have exited the polling stations and their Characteristics . these exit polls helps to gain an early indication as to how an election has turned out, as in many elections the actual result may take hours or even days to count.

The election exit poll analyze the voting pattern among different groups in society analysis. These surveys are seen as a tool to judge the integrity of the electoral process as they identify the actual voting for voters when they came out of the polling station.

The importance of such polls are not limited to be a prediction of the election results before the announcement, but also allows the identification on the social characteristics of voters, and the disparities in voting trends for social segments and regions of different geographical.

The exit polls is considered the only source for the analysis and interpretation of the results of the elections , voting trends of different social classes depending on( age, gender , residency place, political and ideological affiliation.) Careful design of a sample of voting stations is the most important factor in obtaining accurate results of the polls after the voting.

The pre and post polls are considered the most important means of credible candidates and public opinion uses in measurement of voting behavior and predict the results of the elections in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Israel and other countries.

Baseera conducted the very first exit poll in the Egypt and Middle East on the 2012- 2014 constitutional referendum, and subsequently on the 2014 presidential elections ,and 2015 parliament elections In these polls, the results were highly accurate and congruent with the results announced by the High Election Committee. Through these two exit polls, Baseera released a number of press articles providing data on the characteristics of the voters who voted in both elections, which was not provided by the High Elections committee or any other affiliation. For example The exist presidential poll have showed that Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has won the presidential race with94.1 percent of the vote Sabbahi had received a meager 4 percent of the vote. While High Election Committee announced that he has won with 96.9 percent while Sabbahi had received 3.1 percent of votes.
